About
Beautiful Economics is written by one person, published at one address, and meant to still be here when you come back.
I am Arjun Sharma. I work on economics — currently on what happens to the quality of news when outlets compete for a fixed amount of reader attention — and I write here for people who are not economists.
Why a website, when there is already a Facebook page?
Because a Facebook post is gone in two days. It cannot be searched for, it cannot be linked to reliably, and whether anyone sees it at all is decided by a ranking system I have no view into. That is a bad home for work meant to be useful more than once.
Everything here has its own address. You can find it on Google in 2031, send the link to a student, or keep the PDF on your own laptop. The Facebook page continues, but it points here.
What you will find
Concepts — a growing dictionary. Each entry explains what an idea claims, what it quietly assumes, and where it stops working. Most explanations skip that last part.
Writing — longer pieces, where an argument needs room.
Library — PDFs you can download and keep, free, without handing over an email address first.
What this is not
It is not a course, it is not exam coaching, and it will not tell you what the market does tomorrow. I would rather explain one idea properly than twenty badly.
